One billion minutes. That’s a lot of minutes.
IntelePeer is a leader in hosted, on-demand communications that brings phone calls to web applications. Recently they needed to expand their colocation footprint in two of the world’s most competitive marketsNew York and Chicago. They came to us because of the experience we have in those markets specifically, and in business development in general. Once we started working with IntelePeer, we also found their existing footprint was dispersed across several properties and vendors, adding unwanted management costs and frustration.
We solved the problem, and more. We structured a deal in which IntelePeer would buy space and power from Telx, a colocation provider with new space coming online in both markets. We then consolidated IntelePeer’s disparate footprints with a single, easy-to-manage vendor.
Silent Partner then forged a strategic relationship between parties that enabled Telx to market IntelePeer’s VoIP peering product. The result transcends the traditional vendor-customer relationship in a way that creates opportunity and value for all.
Since deployment, IntelePeer has added over one billion minutes of monthly traffic out of New York and Chicago while gaining access to Telx’s customer base. Those kinds of results are why we play the game in the first place.
